Whate is a portable storage container?

Portable storage containers, sometimes known as portable storage units or portable on demand storage containers, are large metal, plywood, and/or plastic containers that are used as door-to-door storage and moving solutions.  Typically, these containers range from 5’ x 7’ x 8’ but can be as large as 8’ x 8’ x 12’, for longer moves or extensive storage. 

Each vendor has containers of slightly different sizes, made of slightly different materials, but the majority of portable storage containers are weather- resistant and durably constructed for the security of your belongings.  However, these containers are not meant to be left in the elements for extended periods of time unprotected.
